Charges Coming In Hazing Death Of Baruch Freshman

(Tunkhannock, PA) -- Criminal charges are in the works after a university student died during a fraternity hazing ritual. Prosecutors say fraternity brothers from Baruch College waited more than an hour before taking the victim to the hospital after he suffered major brain trauma during a pledging game. Instead of calling 911, fraternity members allegedly changed the 19-year-old's clothing and Googled his symptoms. The pledging involved lugging around a heavy backpack blindfolded while being tackled by others.
Police in Pennsylvania say the hazing incident happened over the weekend at a home in the Poconos. About 30 fraternity members were at the home.
