Court Can Hear Challenge To Where Lawmaker Lives

(Honolulu, HI) -- The Circuit Court can now hear a legal challenge regarding where a state lawmaker lives. The "Honolulu Star-Advertiser" reports that's what the state Intermediate Court of Appeals ruled this week. Representative Calvin Say's residency has come into question with some accusing him of living in Pauoa Valley. Last year, a circuit judge dismissed the challenge, but the appeals court overruled that decision. Advocates for Say argue that the challenge is politically motivated. Say has served in the House since 1977.
