(Honolulu, HI) -- More construction jobs are coming to Hawaii. A new report from the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism says Hawaii will add roughly 25-hundred jobs in the construction industry in 2014. That's on top of the 25-hundred construction jobs that were added last year. The jobs are being added because there's currently a housing shortage in Hawaii, with more workers needed for home building companies. Officials say construction is going to be a major part of Hawaii's economic growth in the next couple of years.
