Hernandez, Wainwright Tabbed All-Star Starters
(Minneapolis, MN) -- The St. Louis Cardinals' Adam Wainwright will start Tuesday night's All-Star Game for the National League and Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners will take the hill for the American League. NL manager Mike Matheny of the Cardinals chose the ace of his own staff. Wainwright is 12-and-4 with a 1.83 ERA and three complete games in 19 starts. "King Felix" is 11-and-2 with a 2.12 ERA this season, and is just the second M's pitcher to start the All-Star Game, following Randy Johnson in 1995 and '97.
