(Honolulu, HI) -- Unsettled weather is expected in Hawaii for this Memorial Day Weekend. The National Weather Service issued an advisory alerting residents about the conditions. Forecasters say increasingly moist and unstable air will be drawn up from the south over the islands starting today and continuing into the weekend as upper level disturbance pushes close to the state. Showers could be heavy with possible thunder. Kauai and Oahu will have a higher chance of experiencing thunderstorms.
